PS5 State of Play Overview: From Star Wars VR to Stellar Blade

Sony’s latest show not only had updates to games like Hogwarts Legacy, but also revealed Pacific Drive and Like A Dragon: Ishin!

While not the length of a file Latest Nintendo DirectSony State of Play for September still has plenty of fun ads and trailers, most notably Tekken 8 And the God of War: Ragnarok.

However, two PlayStation VR2 games were shown in between. Admittedly, the first is a reissue star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge, albeit optimized for newer devices.

The second is Demeo, which is already available on PC and recreates the RPG experience with friends. Together, you can form a party and use cards to explore dungeons and battle monsters across four different campaigns and six character classes to choose from. A non-VR version will also be available for PlayStation 5 and both versions will be included in a single purchase.

The following was definitely one of the biggest surprises on the show: a whole new version of Ryū ga Gotoku Ishin!Japanese group only occasional Yakuza in the same time period as ronin’s rise.

Dubbed Like a Dragon: Ishin! For the West (Ishin stands for Restore), it will be released in February 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC, and more will be shown in today’s live stream of the RGG Summit.

A new trailer for Hogwarts Legacy has confirmed that the PlayStation versions will feature exclusive content in the form of a mission that includes a haunted store, something that has already been abandoned before. Retailer Lists.

Pacific Drive, the first title from Seattle-based Ironwood Studios, was also announced. The trailer was a bit vague, but it was a follow up PlayStation Blog Post She explains that it is a “first-person survival game”. Or “The Light Road” (a play on roguelike), as they call it. It launches as a PlayStation 5 exclusive next year.

Then Sony took some time to remind everyone of its newness playstation stars Loyalty program launched this year. It gave a first glimpse of the digital prizes you can get, which are very similar to the ones you got from Super Smash Bros.

Bandai Namco has appeared to announce Synduality, a third-person shooter where you drive a robot and search for resources on an alien planet. Post her blog Online PvPvE battles underline, even though it primarily looks like a single player game.

The South Korean action game Project EVE is back, now titled Stellar Blade. Not a lot of new information has been shared other than a few glimpses into a post-apocalyptic sci-fi-like story, but its gameplay is still glamorous and impressive.

It pleasantly reminds us of the work of PlatinumGames which is a PlayStation 5 console exclusive of 2023, which means it will be on Xbox in 2024.

The last two games shown were Rise Of The Ronin and God Of War Ragnarök, and they both looked very good.

The large number of Japanese-made games was due to the Tokyo Game Show this week so we may find out more about some of these games in the next few days.
