Two Republican candidates compete in Illinois’ New 89th District

Representatives Tony McCombie and Victoria Onorato are vying to be the Republican nominee for the Illinois 89th Home of Representatives seat within the June 28 main.

The newly redrawn space consists of or components of Boone, Carroll, DeKalb, Joe Davis, Ogle, Stephenson, and Winnebago counties. The seat is at present held by Consultant Andrew Chesney, R. Freeport, who has joined the ninetieth district and is operating for the Illinois Senate.
